Social Inclusion in Berlin

By April 12, 2021 September 19th, 2022 No Comments

Why can’t we live together? .. that is a meaningful song. What makes inclusive education so compex and difficult. See this  vivid portrait on Inclusive Education in Berlin how the KITA Brittendroferweg succeeds. We see how this school creates an effective inclusive learning environment from early childhood towards secundary education. For ALL children!

In this film we meet Martina Castello, Pedagogical director at Kindertagesstätten Berlin Süd-West, Eigenbetrieb von Berlin, Janice Ballhausen, General manager and Julika London, Associate manager at the Kita Brittendorferweg and Cynthia Amosse, mother of a child in Kita Brittendorferweg. They all tell about their core values and their approach to working with the children.
This film only includes short parts of the interviews. To get a deeper and broader understanding of the practice and the reasoning behind, please watch/read all the interviews from Berlin
