260 Tale of Two Cities

November 2018. A delegation from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences visited San Diego to explore similarities and challenges between the neighborhood Amsterdam Zuidoost en East Village in San Diego. This Research Group Amsterdam Zuidoost researched possibilities of exchange and cooperation.

Visits took place at The New School of Architecture and Design, Idea Building, e3Civic High, Punch Bowl Social, East Village Association, The Church of Christ & The Quartyard.


At the end of this trip researcher Diana Müller interviewed Dr Jacqueline Thousand who hosted the delegation. This a what you see in the interview Tale of Two Cities.


The research group from Amsterdam consisted of program leader Núria Arbonés Aran, researcher Iegor Trieshchov, researcher Diana Müller and filmmaker Maarten van der Burg.
